This is just the beginning…or maybe it’s the end…either way it will be a great journey.
With a little nudge from my sister-in-law, I decided to give this whole blog idea a shot. I really didn’t think anyone would want to read what I have to say. I am by no means an English major so I just assumed that without correct spelling or grammar no one would enjoy my “ramblings”. I tend to keep my thoughts to myself or within my small circle of trusted listeners, and if I really feel the need to express myself I find my way to Facebook to share with family and friends. Like I said though, a little nudge later and here I am so we will give this a shot.
For those of you who are unfamiliar with my story I’ll start with the readers digest version: My husband and I had finally decided to start a family late in 2015. 11 months later we saw those two wonderful pink lines…6 weeks later our “Little Bear” didn’t make it. Fast forward 3 months and we were pregnant again! This time it stuck! We were over the moon during our 20 week appointment to discover we were expecting a boy. Jack Andrew Anderson V. Jackie’s due date was expected for January 6th, he had other plans and was born December 21, 2016. He passed away December 30th in the comfort of my arms surrounded by his Daddy and Grandparents in the NICU at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital.
Now, like I said this is the readers digest version. This by all means does not encompass the whole story…however I do not want to use up all of my material in one post. The idea behind this first post is just to give you a little sense of why I am here and why I have decided to blog. The truth is, I am a grieving mother…I miss my son everyday, every minute, every second. If you are interested in my journey this is the place you can follow me. Some of you will already know much of what I write about and some of you will only be reading it for the first time. I cannot promise how often I will post…we will just have to see where this road takes us.
