Once again I took to the website to get an idea of what others were speaking about with today’s prompt. One mom wrote, “Loss is a spilled bottle of ink. It takes a long time to clean, the mess is everywhere, despite all the effort to clean the stain will always remain.” While others spoke about their tattoos that they have in honor of their angel babies. I like the idea behind both of these. While one describes loss the other provides a way to pay tribute to those you love whom have passed on. Tattoos are permanent, they become apart of who you are. Jack and I have spoken numerous times about getting a tattoo in honor of our babies…we just haven’t settled on what they will look like.
Our babies are apart of us, they live within our hearts and our minds…why not show and share that with the outside world?
