When I began my blogging journey I really didn’t know what to expect. As many of you will recall it was a recommendation from my sister-in-law. She felt that it would not only provide an arena for me to release my emotions but would also provide a place for all of my family and friends to go to follow our journey after the loss of our son. Throughout these months leading up to the dreaded one year mark I have shared many blog posts centered around one common theme…the loss of Jackie. As we near 2018 I am happy to share changes that revolve around keeping my son’s spirit alive.
This post is to specifically notify my blog followers that my blog will be moving from blogspot to WordPress. The main reason for this change is to blog on my own self-hosted site. I choose blogspot originally for the fact that it was much easier to set up…especially because I was unclear to whether blogging was really for me or if anyone at all would even want to follow my blog. It thrills me to make this transition allowing me the freedom to operate my site the way that I want.
I am hopeful that this new site will allow my readers to navigate my posts in an easier way. And that my posts will be able to be shared, viewed, and commented on more often. I am currently in the process of creating and moving all of the posts from blogspot to the new WordPress site. I will notify you all once this has completed. I hope you love my new location as much as I do!
