Test Results from 2.14
The following information below is from my notes that I took during my phone call with Vios on the 20th. As always please keep in mind that it is my take away from the conversation that was had and may not articulate exact specifics. If for some reason I have misunderstood anything I will make sure to update you all as soon as possible. Thank you in advance for your understanding.
We both received our phone calls regarding our test results. Dr. Cooper has prescribed Jack to take half a tablet of Clomid daily and I will be adding prescription vitamin D to my weekly routine. Jack is taking Clomid to help boost sperm count and mobility and also assist with lower testosterone levels. While his results came back normal they were still on the low-end of normal. Dr. Cooper felt it best for him to begin taking Clomid for a 6-8 week period, after which they will check his levels again. My results came back normal as well however there are a few things Dr. Cooper will be monitoring. She will be keeping a close eye on my thyroid as well as my hormone levels during ovulation. These levels are currently in normal range however the are a bit low and may not be where they need to be during ovulation. My vitamin D level came back a bit low as well, normal but lower than what she would like to see. We are still waiting to hear back regarding our genetic tests and I will still need to have a saline ultrasound done when my next period begins.
The Game Plan
We were happy to hear back from Vios in a short amount of time. As things currently stand, we were not instructed to abstain from trying to conceive this cycle however it was discussed with us that if we did choose to try to do so with caution because it is still unclear as to why we are having miscarriages. Jack and I had our conversation regarding the matter that evening on the 20th and felt it best for us to abstain this cycle. As anxious as we are to get this show on the road, we want to give ourselves the best possible chance we can. To allow Dr. Cooper the time she needs, to allow our new vitamins and prescriptions time to absorb, and honestly just to give ourselves a much deserved break. We are mentally in a really good place right now as both of us are positive and excited to continue to work with Dr. Cooper and her team. I will keep you all posted.
We love you Bear, Jackie, and Peanut!
