I posted on April 13th that I would be embarking on a new journey the beginning of May. I have officially stepped down from my position at work…I was lucky enough that they offered me part-time employment in the mean time. This will allow Jack and I to still have some income coming in to help with our finances and I will also gain much needed time. Time to heal, time to read, time to write, time to think and time to plan. This journey officially begins on Monday May 8th. I am finishing up my final two days, moving out of my office, and preparing for my new title, my new roll in the office. This is a change for me and a change for my co-workers. I know that this was the right choice. This is what I needed…it is what the office needed. I cannot be what they need right now. I am looking forward to less hours and less stress. I still don’t have a plan…and that’s okay.
I am thankful to my son, he has given me courage to change. I do not know what lies ahead…I do not have a plan…but I am ever so blessed and ever so hopeful that this is my journey. Everything happens for a reason, a new is beginning…it’s time to paint my new painting. I wonder what beauty lies ahead? Only time will tell.
